Review by Alex
This simplistic phone game has taken the app world by storm, and can be described in just one word and some tmesis. UN-FUCKING-FAIR.
The complex and integral lore of this game is astoundingly in depth - you are a box, who can jump. However, once a few new concepts to increase your repertoire of.... jumping... get introduced, Geometry Dash becomes one of the hardest possible games you can imagine. Much like a super upgraded and more challenging impossible game, Geometry Dash is incredibly addictive to perfectionists, and especially people who cannot let things be unfinished... unfortunately I perfectly match that personality profile.
The soundtrack in this game is, in my personal and often seen as perverted opinion, excellent. What more could you ask from Swedish-super-electro-pop-bit-chip-tune. The background designs are also simple at first, but get drastically more erratic and generally awesome.
The game also comes with customisable characters, ships, saws and colours, a vast multitude of achievements, a level editor and hundreds of player made games that can be downloaded online.
All in all, this game is fantastic and if you're anything like me, you will happily play away hours of boredom. It is warned however, that certain side effects may ensue such as intense rage, outbursts of screaming, extremely antisocial behaviour and very fleeting moments of complete and utter content. Also, it is heavily advised that if you have epilepsy - STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME!
This game has wasted so much of my time
But I'd hardly call it wasted.
5 Rainbow Lorikeets out of 5.
